David was born in Winter Park, Florida. After a childhood spent moving around the country (and the world) in an Air Force family, he spent his high school years in Eagle River, Alaska. He attended college at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in science writing. After graduation, he moved back to where it all started, Orlando, Florida, to pursue acting. While performing at the major theme parks, he earned an MFA in creative writing from Full Sail University.
David spent a year in Los Angeles where he had the opportunity to work on the premiere season of the Emmy-winning docu-series, "Born This Way" for A&E. He has since returned to Florida to continue pursuing his creative career.

Most recently, he has graduated as part of the inaugural class of the University of Central Florida's new Themed Experience MFA program. He has enjoyed the opportunity to transition his 12+ years of theme park experience into a career creating themed entertainment as a Show Writer with Walt Disney Imagineering.
